OTDR Launch Cable box
The OTDR Launch Cable bos, is used in conjunction with Optical Time Domain Reflectometer ( OTDR ) measurement instrument, to detect faults, splices and bends in optical Fibre cable.
The launch fiber is used to create the proper testing conditions, by placing the necessary length of fibre between the OTDR and the actual length of fibre being measured. This enables the OTDR to find fults close to the end of the fibre.
The Launce lead box, is both water and dust proof and can be used in most environments
