Feature Product - HandiMate Connector Cleaner
A pocket-sized, fully contained cleaning tool - the HandiMate™ cleaner provides a simple, foolproof method for removing all types of oils, dust and debris from optical connector endfaces. The compact, palm-sized HandiMate™ is the simplest, most economical cleaning tool currently on the market for both field installation and in bench top laboratories requiring optimum performance for critical applications The patented Slide-Guide feature accommodates both 2.5mm (FC, SC, ST) and 1.25mm (LC, MU) ceramic ferrules – and allows the user to properly align both PC polished and APC angle polished optical connectors for maximum cleaning of the critical fiber core. Utilizing a proprietary, non-woven microfiber, the HandiMate™ can be operated as both a dry cleaner for light dust / lint and/or as a wet cleaner for dried on salts / alcohol residue. The cleaning tape advances each time the Slide-Guide is activated, further simplifying the field operation. A small window on the side of the tool indicates when the tape is finished – around 500 or more applications. Another innovative feature - the body of the HandiMate™ is made of an Anti-Static material allowing the tool to be used in bench top applications where ESD compliance is required.

The Magnepull is a unique new product that is changing the cable- pulling industry. Super strength rare earth magnets are used to magnetically couple a cable-pulling device through drywall allowing the technicians to have complete control. The technician simply attaches the cable-pulling device to the end of the cable and couples it through the drywall to the wire retrieval unit. Once the cable-pulling device has been coupled, the technician can move the wire retrieval unit on the outside of the drywall to the desired location and retrieve the cable. This system eliminates the use of bulky fish-tapes and will reduce installation labor by up to 70%. The super strength rare earth magnets work well with metal studs and insulation making the tool extremely versatile for use in the electrical, alarm, voice, data, and video industries. Developed specifically for FTTH technicians working with flat fiber drop cables, the FOD speed slitter™ opens cable jackets easily and safely with one pull ! A smiple twist of the cable allows the jacket and strenght members to separate from the buffer tube leaving the fiber undamaged. Just snip off the loosened jacket and splice. FOD speed slitter™ ranges Width: 0.305 - 0.350 Inches Thickness : 0.155 - 0.185 Inches Jacket Thickness : 0.03 - 0.04 Inches
